Title: Dartmouth Park - Set 1
|
 |
| Land for Dartmouth Park was presented to the town by Lord Dartmouth in 1887 to mark the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria. It was laid out between 1887 and 1890; opened in 1890, provided with a fine canopied drinking fountain. Bruntcliffe Water Tower, used when Morley got its supply from Leeds, can just be seen through the park trees.
