| Here we see pictured the top part of Scatcherd Hill from No. 39 Queen Street (Benjamin Tempest tobacconist and confectioner) as far as the Fent Warehouse. This is in 1906, before Morley House was demolished, before Scatcherd Park was laid out and before Queensway existed, though some work had been done to widen the road and improve the pavements. Tne long parade of shops from Coffin Corner to Morley Bottoms has become a Conservation Area.
