South Queen Street

This view up South Queen Street from outside the Fountain Inn dates from April 1950 when films starring Frank Sinatra and the Bowery Boys were showing at the Morley Pavilion Cinema. Notices above Gallons show that there was still some rationing in operation, but most of the shops seen here have now closed or even been demolished.
