A letter to Miss Emily Asquith from the Town Clerk offering her the Head Teacher position at Peel Street Girls School

31-July-1905. Miss Asquith was offered the Head Teacher position at Peel Street Girls School by Fred Thackray, the Town Clerk, representing the Local Education Committee which had succeeded the School Board. She remained here for the rest of her working life and became one of the first female magistrates in Morley in 1929.
